Question: Problems with Immortality?

“Can Enki relate to any of the things on this picture?”~Querent.
“1. No. We have Textile Specialists in a Clothing Archive to repair clothing.
2.Sort of. I think of situational jokes a certain deceased would have enjoyed and understood.
3.Sort of. I’m not able to eat my favorite dish anymore because of Fukishima pollution. (It’s unfortunate, but one must deal with things as they come to us.)
4.Yes. Or that are played on my home planet.
5.No. I wrote a great many songs, so I remember what I sing. My family also remembers most of the songs and we sing them together.
6. Yes. My family gets most of the puns…except for my wife. She’s too young to know them.
There are many frustrating things about being immortal…especially watching history repeat itself.
There are good things, too. Like watching your children’s beautiful traits flow through their own bloodlines. I also enjoy watching how the interpretations of certain ancient texts, like hymns and songs, change course without losing their emotion. People appear to relate to words written about love and nature consistently over the eons.”
~Prince Ea/Enki/Shiv.
